Abigail Douglas is a singer/songwriter from the River Region of Alabama who attends Belmont University and is enrolled in their Songwriting program. Since she began performing professionally at age 15, she has opened for American Idol finalist Jess Meuse and nationally renowned folk singer Adam Ezra. She has also been a featured artist at awardwinning songwriter Karren Pell’s songwriterevent, as well as headline at the Autauga County Fair. Abigail has been a featured performer at the First Annual Wilson Pickett Music Bicentennial Celebration. She was the inaugural artist for Foreword South Media’sSongwriters Series and received feature coverage in their media publications. She has been featured in the Montgomery Advertiser Artist Spotlight, the River Region News, the Autauga/Elmore News, and was a cover artist for the 334/Go Entertainment Weekly in 2017. She has had her single “Runaway Child” played numerous times on 95.1 the Fox rock radio station. Her musical influences include Neil Young, Ingrid Michaelson, Radiohead, Jewel, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Pinegrove and Jason Isbell.
